Pork Chops are a little rare around here… but they are tossed in the mix every now and then!
The first thing I think of when I think of Pork Chops is Shake n Bake… Although I don’t keep Shake n Bake around because really its just bread crumbs with some seasonings in the mix… so your actually paying for over priced bread crumbs… If you ask me 😉 But I do keep bread crumbs around… The Italian kind that has the seasonings in it 🙂 Every once in a while I will make our own if there is any left over bread from the week… but that doesn’t happen too often.
I thought I’d change up the Pork Chops a bit and stuff them with some cheese and apple slices… I do have to say my kids ended up pushing the apple to the side… But the Hubby and I gobbled it up! The apple added a little sweetness to the Chops… and the cheese… who is gonna complain about cheese???
Here is what you’ll need:
Pack of Pork Chops
1 Apple… any kind really… Granny would be yummy… I think I used a Fuji
Cheese… I uses Garlic and Herb Monterrey Jack… I would also suggest Havarti, Provolone or Swiss
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees
